6c. How to install Wordpress

Go back to your HostGator email and click the link to go to your hosting control panel and log in. You'll be presented with a screen with various options. Scroll down to this section (near the bottom) and click "Fantastico De Luxe"

Step 1: From this screen click the Wordpress link on the left column.

Step 2: You'll be presented with an option to install Wordpress on a specific domain name. Click the install option and select the domain you wish to install Wordpress on along with the applicable settings.

Step 3: Be sure to write down your admin username and password as you'll need this to be able to log into your newly created Wordpress blog.

6d. Creating more Wordpress blogs

After you've created your first blog for the domain name you selected when you created your hosting account you'll need to do a few extra steps for each new blog you create.

So, log back into your HostGator Control Panel, scroll down to this section and click "Addon Domains" (if you're setting up the first blog in your hosting account you may be able to skip this step)
